8:00AM EDT - 10:30AM EDT You can still register in-person! At the Sun Fiesta festival, downtown Venice, in the beer tent at the 5K registration table on either FRIDAY, OCT 18, 5 - 8 p.m. ; SATURDAY, OCT 19, noon - 8 p.m. Or sign up RACE MORNING, Sunday, 6:45 - 7:45 a.m. at the race start behind Venice Theater at the Venetian Waterway Park trail head in the shade of the US 41 BUSINESS bridge span. For race morning, Venice Theater is allowing race participants to park in their lot so there is plenty of race morning parking.

Description

Enjoy a sunny good time at the Sun Fiesta 5K on Sunday, October 20th 2019  with a scenic course out and back on the Venetian Waterway Park starting at the trail head behind the Venice  Theater on Tampa Avenue.  RunSignUp Race Day Certified professional chip timing with awards for the Overall, Master, Grandmaster, Sr. Grandmaster and Veteran Grandmaster male and female  and 3-deep age group awards 14& under then 5 year groups to 75 and over. 

Register by September 30th to be sure to get this year's race shirt.  There's a custom finisher's medal for all finishers but the race will be capped at 300 so register early. 

Everyone is welcome:, runners, walkers or in between!  You can run or jog or walk the 5K (that's 3.1 miles if you weren't sure.) 

The Sun Fiesta 5K is a project of the Women's Sertoma Club of Venice and will benefit their scholarships (17 awarded in 2018!) and charitable gifts in the local community.

Awards will be presented to the male and female Overall Winners, Masters, Grandmaster, Senior Grandmaster, and Veteran Grandmaster.   Age Group Awards for male and female, 3-deep in ages 14, & under, 5 year groups from 15-19, etc. up to 75 & over.  

Course Map & Description

Sun Fiesta is back in downtown Venice at Centennial Park.  Sun Fiesta 5K course is a scenic trip up and down the Venetian Waterway Park from the northern trail head behind the Venice Theater on Tampa Street.
